Structure
The Shams Alam Resort is located within the Wadi El Gimal National Park, Egypt's third protected area, a perfectly preserved ecosystem enriched by the presence of medicinal plants, mammals, birds and marine species. Here it will be very easy to engage in sports such as snorkeling and windsurfing. The village is located within the natural park of Wadi El Gimal, about 100 km south of Marsa Alam airport, reachable with a one and a half hour transfer, and about 50 km from the city of Marsa Alam.
Beach
The structure overlooks a long private beach equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, where access to the sea and snorkeling along the coral reef are facilitated by a large sandy lagoon, which allows you to reach the most beautiful spots to admire with a mask and mouthpiece, even without the aid of rubber shoes. The coral reef in this stretch of sea is absolutely one of the most pristine and rich in underwater life of the Red Sea, the favorite place for divers and snorkelers. Near the beach there is also a practical jetty, which also facilitates entry into the open sea and the mooring of boats for excursions or diving trips.
Rooms
The Resort has 160 rooms, distributed in small two-storey buildings with sea view, in which there are private bathrooms with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite LCD TV, safe, mini fridge, balcony or terrace . Communicating rooms are also available upon request.
Restaurants and Bars
The All Inclusive treatment is provided: breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style in the main restaurant with drinks on tap. Soft drinks, fruit juices, natural mineral water, local draft beer and local wine served by the glass, local espresso, American coffee, cappuccino, tea, karkadè and national liqueurs are available at all hours of the day thanks to 'open bar until 24. There is also a restaurant on the beach that serves snacks and pizza, a bar by the pool and the Bedouin tent where you can sip excellent karkadè.
Relaxation and entertainment
Whether you want to relax or if you are looking for an active holiday, at the Shams Alam Resort you will be satisfied: those who prefer tranquility can find it on the beach or in the pool, where there is an area reserved for children, with umbrellas, sunbeds and beach towels. For sports lovers there are many activities to choose from those organized on the beach or in the pool, such as beach volleyball or water aerobics. The diving center is directly on the beach and organizes courses and dives with the possibility of renting equipment (paid services). For a fee, you can use the wellness center with hydromassage, Turkish bath, sauna and massages. Wi-Fi is available for a fee.
