Campobello Di Mazara and surroundings
It owes its name to the beauty of the "field" on which the town was built. Founded by Giuseppe di Napoli in 1623 -with "dismisses populandi novam civitatem" granted by Philip IV of Spain-on the site of a fifteenth century urban area, boasts cultural and historical memories related to Phoenician settlements, Arab and Byzantine. It was theater, like most of the Sicilian municipalities, the agrarian crisis of the late nineteenth century and the consequent peasant struggles. Among the testimonies of the historical and architectural heritage are: the mother church, rebuilt in 1825 on a XVI century and dedicated to Santa Maria delle Grazie, inside which you can admire the Crucifix among 'Humble from Petralia and the statue of the Immaculate Virgin; the Clock Tower; St. Michael's Church and the church of the Addolorata. About three kilometers from the town can visit the Cave di Cusa, ancient limestone quarries, active from 600 BC to 409 BC, which was extracted from the limestone used to build the city of Selinunte and the large capitals and the imposing columns its temples; you can still observe the various stages of the work function and stone processing.

abbiamo trovato sporchissimo, ho dovuto lavare tutto, piatti, bicchieri, tazze, posate, pentole e padelle poiché tutto aveva residui di cibo e sporcizia.
