Tour of Umbria

1st day:

arrival at the Airport of Rome and transfer in Hotel in Foligno or surroundings. Arrival at the Hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day:
Gubbio

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for Gubbio, amazing and unforgettable town, located near the Ingino Mount. Wonderfully preserved over the centuries, and rich in monuments that attest its glorious past. Guided Tour of the historical center : San Francesco’s Church, walks in the typical medieval alleys, the Fools Fountain, Grande Sqaure with external visit of Consoli Palace, the Cathedral of Saint Giacomo and Saint Mariano. Free time. Return in Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

3rd day:
Orvieto 

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure direction Orvieto, a very old town and rich in history. The day will be dedicated to the visit of the Cathedral, with the Signorinelli Chapel, St. Patrick’s well, the famous hydraulic work built in 1527, Popolo Square, Popolo Palace, the Moro Tower, St. Andrea’s Church and Palazzo of Comune. Free afternoon to visit the Bolsena Lake. Return in Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

4°th day:
Perugia 

Breakfast in Hotel. Etruscan walls and a delightful historical center, this is Perugia, town of chocolate enthusiastics and artists, capital of the beautiful Umbria. The day will be structured with the visit of the Paolina Fortress, Marzia Door, Italia Square, Sopramuro Square, Priori Palace, Major Fountain, St Lorenzo Cathedral. Break on the Porta Sole terrace with panoramic view of the town. Free afternoon to visit the Trasimeno Lake. Return in Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

5th day:
Spoleto and Todi

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for Spoleto and guided tour of the historical center: the Tower Bridge, Albornoziana Fortress (external visit), St. Maria Assunta Cathedral, Market Square with the rests of the ancient hole, Romane Theater. Departure to Todi and guided tour of the town: Temple of St. Maria of the consolation, the Church of Santa Fortuna, Popolo Square with the medieval public buildings, St. Maria Cathedral. Return in Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

6th day:
Assisi

Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for visiting Assisi, the hometown of St Francesco, patron of Italia and St Chiara. The day will be structured with the visit of: St Francesco Church, St Chiara Church, Comune Square with the temple of Minerva, the holy house, the oratory of the Franciscan. Return in Hotel, dinner and overnight stay. 7th day: Breakfast in Hotel. Departure for the Airport in Rome.
