Gastronomic Tour in the Eternal City, Rome

Program:

Day 1.
Arrival of the Group at the APT in Rom. Meeting with the guide and Panoramic Tour in Rom. Ice cream tasting . In the afternoon arrival at the Hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 2.
After the breakfast in the Hotel, departure for the guided tour of Ancient Rome; visit (external) of the Colosseum, the largest Amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. Visit of’Fori Imperiali"; with a view of the ;Foro Romano"; and ;Campidoglio";, the religious centre of the city. Lunch dedicated to pasta with a sorting of typical dishes:
- Fettuccine with pumpkin flowers and pork cheek;
- Bucatini all'Amatriciana;
- Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe or Spaghetti alla Carbonara;
- All accompanied by a salad with carrots and tomatoes, a dessert of your choice, ¼ red Syraz or Chardonnay wine Antico Ceppo Bianco and coffee.

In the afternoon departure for the guided tour of Baroque Rome, walking through the alleys, main passages Trevi and Pantheon, an ancient religious building, a Temple dedicated to all the deities of ancient Rome. Coffee or Cappucino at the bar and departure for the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 3.
After the breakfast"; departure for a walk with the guide in Trastevere, literally in English ;Beyond the Tiber"; is one of the Rioni of Rome, the only one in the historic centre that is found on the right bank of the Tiber, visit the ;Villa Farnesina";, one of the representative buildings of the Renaissance architecture of the early sixteenth century. Lunch with a tasting of cheeses and other culinary delicacies:
- Tasting of 6 raw milk cheeses
- Tasting of 5 cold cuts
- Marinated dishes or contours
- 2 wine glasses (White and Red)
- Bread and water

In the afternoon departure for the guided tour of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, property of the Vatican, one of the four major basilicas of Rome. It is the largest monument and the oldest Roman church dedicated to the Virgin Mary; then visit the Basilica di San Giovanni, also one of the four major basilicas of Rome. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 4.
After the breakfast, departure for the guided tour of the Vatican Museums, it groups together twelve museums, which represents five galleries and 1,400 rooms. The ensemble refers to one of the largest art collections in the world. Afterwards visit the Sistine Chapel, the place where, traditionally since the 15th century, the cardinals gather in conclave to elect the new Pope. Lunch dedicated to traditional roman Pizza:
- Fried mixture
- Choice of pizza
- Water, ¼ wine or 0. 20cc beer
- Café

Afternoon free. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 5.
After the breakfast start the guided tour of Tivoli and Villa D'Este, a masterpiece of Italian architecture, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. A visit to a property or a visit to the vineyards, there will be a presentation with a first glass of wine. Then lunch with :
- 4 types of Wines
- Buffet with 20 different dishes
- Fresh pasta
- Desert

In the afternoon Panoramic tour with the guide and walk in the centre of Castel Gandolfo. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel

Breakfast and departure for the Airport
