Torre Marrana

Today's hike with a hiking guide takes you through vineyards and field paths down into the river valley to a still functioning antique mill. Continue over fields with a magnificent view of the blue sea until you reach an old Saracen tower, the ;Torre Marrana";. Walking time approx. 4 hours, approx. 550 height meters

3. Day
Palmi &Monte S. Elia

Today we go to the coastal town of Palmi. A short excursion to the ethnographic museum will give you a good insight into the traditional customs of the Calabrians: from magic beliefs to religious customs, from carpet weaving to the life of the shepherds. The following panoramic hike with a guide follows the steep flank of Monte S. Elia, which slopes down to the sea. On a clear day you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Costa Viola, the Aeolian Islands and the Strait of Messina. Walking time approx. 4-5 hours, approx. 400 metres in altitude

4. Day
The plateau of Monte Poro / Capo Vaticano

Your hike with the guide begins on small asphalt roads and cross-country to the plateau of Monte Poro. A large part of the local cheese specialities such as sheep's cheese, ricotta and mozzarella are produced here. During the ascent you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Capo Vaticano. Continue on to the pilgrimage church t;Madonna del Carmine";. From here your descent will take you along a beautiful path among cactus, chestnut and olive trees to the coastal town of Joppolo. Walking time approx. 4-5 hours, approx. 300 metres in altitude.

5. Day
Lake of Zungri

Today you will hike with your hiking guide on wonderfully untouched nature trails. The highlight of the day is reached in the morning: the old abandoned caves of Zungri, which offer a wonderful insight into medieval cave life. The hiking trail continues through a breathtaking landscape, past the remains of an old Roman villa with a cistern, to a small mountain lake, the end point of your hike today. Walking time approx. 5 hours, approx. 500 metres in altitude

6. Day
Aspromonte National Park

Hike with your guide to the top of Monte Cappellano (900 m), from where you can enjoy an impressive view of the woods and hills of the National Park and the Tyrrhenian Sea. On the way back you will visit a small liqueur factory near Polistena, where among other things the essences of bergamot are processed (worldwide the citrus fruit bergamot grows exclusively on the southern tip of Calabria). Walking time approx. 4 hours, approx. 550 height meters
